photo of mock trial participantsMock Trial team wins county test - now on to regionals

Congratulations to the FFCS Mock Trial team!  Eleven students competed against three local schools on March 30 and April 1 in a courtroom competition.  The students became the lawyers and witnesses of a case by studying materials, preparing questions and responses, and finally participating in several trials, which were held at the Montgomery County Court House.  Our team scored the most points and won the case in the exciting final round against Canajoharie, earning a prestigious position in the New York State Mock Trial Regional competition.  The next match will be held in Schenectady on May 2.  Good luck Mock Trial team - Jessica Hopper, Tiffany Hotaling, Cheyenne Lewandowski, Melissa Fox, Tiana Lopez, Erika DeBonte, Michael Wren, Chris Schnackenburg, Joseph Maher, Brittany Hinkle and Juniper Abraham.
