Mr. T.'s Favorite Teams:

My Grandfather was a former Sports Editor of the Leader-Herald.  He grew up  very poor during the Great Depression and served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII.  He worked his way up from delivering papers, to driving the delivery trucks, to working as a beat reporter, to finally becoming the Sports Editor.

He passed away in 2001.
He was a classic American example of hard work, humility, toughness, and self-reliance.
I'm very proud to be his grandson.

As I always tell my students, savor every moment you have with your grandparents!
