7th Grade Art Program:  Offered every other day for 1 semester (20 weeks).

Focus is on Figure Drawing and 1 and 2 Point Perspective.   Students begin the semester discussing the pro- portions of the human body and create a figure based on a particular theme.   Previous themes have included Harry Potter Witches and Wizards, Egyptian Pharaohs, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Medieval knights in Shining Armor.    This year students will create Greek/Roman Toga  figures.  Afterwards students switch gears and focus on the use of 1 and 2 Point Perspective, an Architectural drawing method used to make 2-dimensional structures appear 3-dimensional.   Previously students have designed Medieval Castles, Egyptian Pyramids, Tall Ships, and Race Cars.  This year students will design Greek/Roman Buildings.
