46th Grade Math -- Mrs. Hoffman

Welcome to 6th Grade Math

Supplies:  To be prepared for class you will need:

  • 1 inch - 3 ring floppy binder

  • 1 pocket folder

  • 2 pencils

Class work:  View 40 minutes in 6th grade Math.

 

Text Book:  We use Saxon Math - 7/6 4th edition. View activities from our text book

 

Homework:  View weekly homework

  • Homework will be assigned, usually, Monday through Friday.

  • Most of the homework will be taken from the book and should be completed even when absent.

  • Only a few problems from each assignment involve the new material.  The remaining problems are review from previously introduced and reviewed concepts.

  • All required problems should be attempted. Students will be skipping problems according to the roll of the dice.

  • All students that do homework will find success

Tests:

  • Tests will be given every 5 to 10 lessons. 

  • Each test is cumulative.

  • The NYS Math Test will be given in March.

  • We will have a final exam.
